Douglas Brighton,DVM

Dr. Brighton is a graduate of Michigan State University, a member of the American, Ohio, and Toledo Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Dental Society. Dr. Brighton has practiced in Maumee since 1979. 

Susan Pontius,DVM

Dr. Pontius is a graduate of The Ohio State University in 1978, and has been practicing in the Toledo area ever since.  She is a member of the TVMA, AVMA and Assoc. of Avian Veterinarians.  Dr. Pontius is married with 3 children.  She owns 3 dogs, 5 cats 2 quarter horses, 1 shetland pony, birds, and chickens.  In her spare time Dr. Pontius enjoys horsebackriding, gardening, and cleaning the barn.

Kelly Riedeman,DVM

Dr. Riedeman is a  gradaute of The Ohio State University in 2002.  She has been working at Brannan's for 2 1/2 years. Dr. Riedeman owns 3 dogs-Owen, a springer spaniel, Buster and Annie both border collies.  She also has 5 cats, 2 horses, 2 goats, chickens, and 3 cows.  In her spare time she enjoys riding her bicycle, and working outside in the barn and yard. 

Registered Veterinary Technicians

Sue 

Sue graduated from Columbus State Community College in 1992 and has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 10 years.  Sue is married and has two boys, Eben and Camden.  She has a cairn terrier named Kylie, a cat named Bobbi, and 2 guinea pigs named Carrot, and Matt.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping, in-line skating, biking, reading, and gardening.

Debbie

Debbie graduated from Stautzenberger College in 2003. She is married and has a son and daughter. Debbie has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 4 years. Debbie owns five cats and three dogs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband.

Deb 

Deb graduated from Michigan State University in 1990 and has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 13 years.  She has a cat named Mickey.  Deb is married and has a boy, Ryan, and twin girls, Megan and Jordan. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, in-line skating, and camping with her family.

Darlene

Darlene graduated in 1997 from Stautzenberger and has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 9 years.  She is married and the mother of three sons.  Darlene owns 5 cats who she dearly loves.  Darlene and her family enjoy spending time at their cottage in Michigan.

Receptionists

Cathy 

Cathy graduated from Northwest State Community College in 1995 and has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 10 years.  She has 2 cats, Coco and Peaches, and two dogs, Corky and Britta.  Cathy also owns horses:  two Haflingers, Ike and Tom, a pony, Sparky, and a registered Paint, Reds Butterscotch, which her daughter shows.  In her spare time, she is involved in the 4-H, open horse shows, camping, and cross country skiing.

Chris

Chris has been working as a veterinarian receptionists for twenty years, 18 of which were at Brannan Veterinary Clinic.  She is  married and has 2 dogs.  She currently lives in Michigan, on Posey Lake where she enjoys kayaking, running daily, her family, and feeding the deer that live in her backyard. 

Sandy

Sandy has been a receptionists at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for 4 years.  She is married and has two kids.  Sandy owns two dogs, a golden retriever and english springer spaniel, and a pond full of fish.  In her spare time, she enjoys attending hockey games, basketball games, and spending with her family and dogs.

Dora

Dora has been an employee with Brannan Veterinary Clinic for ten years.  Dora is  married and has three step children and five grandchildren.  Dora has one cat named Molly.  In her spare time, she enjoys rubber stamping, scrap booking, crafts, and attending flea markets.

Pat

Pat graduated frm the Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture in 1984 and has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for eleven years.  She is married and is the mother of two sons, Johnathan and Benjamin, and a daughter named Jessica. Pat owns two cats, Charlie and Jiminy, and she has a German Shepard name Tanner.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking, and helping out at her kids' school.

Dawn

Dawn has been working at Brannan Veterinary Clinic for more than 12 years.  She is currently single with four sons.  Dawn owns 3 German Shepherds, Cinder, Riverdance, Chilly Willy, and a Boston Terrier named Classy.  She also owns 2 cats named Kit Kat, and Fiona. 

Assistants

Linda

Linda has been working at Brannans for 15 years.  She is married with one daughter, and 4 grandsons.  Linda owns one German Shepherd "Tara" and one West Highland "Yoki". She also owns two cats named Lizzard and Snake. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandsons. 

 Josh

Josh has been working at Brannans for almost a year.  He is currently going to Owens Community College, and has applied for UT's Pre-Vet program.  Josh plans on pursuing a degree in Veterinarian Medicine at The Ohio State University.  Josh is a firefighter with the City of Northwood, and is also in classes to become an EMT.  He has 1 dog named Sami, and a turtle named Harry.
